Thanksgiving Day Feast
This is the first time I made my own pie crust and it turned out. I usually buy the pre-made crusts and then slide them into my own pie plate so they look homemade (Is that so wrong?). Too bad the recipe called for so much lemon zest. The filling ended up tasting a tad bit too lemony.
We made the mistake of letting the kids watch Kung Fu Panda.

I am so excited to see that we finally rated some face-time on your blog! We had a great time with your cute family. Between our zoo visit, the trip to the wild animal park, and Kung-Fu Panda, how did we ever expect the kids to do anything but act WILD themselves :) Crazy fun!

I can't believe I just found your blog. I'm not sure if you remember me or not but I was best friends with Kari Allen when we all lived in Cali and then when we went up to UVSC. I was clicking on my friends blog and I saw a link with your name and I had to see if it was you. Anyway small world. Looks like you're doing good and having fun in Texas. I live in Arizona and love it. It's fun to see how everyone has grown up and where they are.
